I live in Stokmarknes, Vesterålen, Northern Norway. This is in the midst of Norways most famous, scenic region and north of the Arctic Circle. Perfect for nature photography.
I have a full time job as orthopaedic manualtherapist, and run my own clinic: Institutt for manuellterapi Sortland AS. My photography is simply pure pleasure and relaxation! I enjoy making photos, particularly of the beautiful scenery and the everchanging light that my part of Norway is famous for. I grew up with the  mountains as my playground, and from early on developed a sincere sense of the beauty of nature. Travel is also a passion, and therefore you will find photos from other parts of the world as well.
To enhance my photographic skills I have participated in several workshops together with Trym Ivar Bergsmo, Bjørn Joachimsen, Jan R Olsen, Lars Andreas Dybvik, Elisabeth Nordeng Aanes, Frank Hesjedal, Hans Strand, Bjarne Riesto and Knut-Sverre Horn. Thank you all for your contribution of skills and not least inspiration! Not to forget the knowledge and advice provided by all the nice and clever participants at these workshops!
Photography is a hobby I plan to hang on to. It is challenging and rewarding, and gives peace of mind :)
